I was sleeved on 9/14/10 at St. Elizabeth's by Dr. Bellanger. The surgery was quick with very minimal pain. Once I left the hospital, I didn't require any more pain medication. Three days later I was enjoying a weekend out of town with my sisters. The liquid diet is easier than I thought it would be and in two days I move on to soft foods. 12 days out I have lost a total of 18.5 pounds. I could not be happier. I'm full of energy and ready to take on my new life! I wish I had done it 20 years ago!
