Beginning of a new me!

Yesterday was my 1st class of the 6 month prerequsite for Gastric Bypass according to BCBS of De..Ugh! But it was good, It was the pre-op support group and I met with The Bariatric Nurse Coordinator MaryEllen and the Dietician Sam They made me feel pretty comfortable. During my support group one of the younger women told the coordinator that BCBS is saying now that we only have to do 3 months if our PCP says that it is "Medically Neccessary" for us to have the surgery so i can't wait to talk to my doctor. I'm very excited about getting these 6 months out of the way so I can start my new life in time for my 21st birthday!!!(Hopefully ill only have to do 3 months instead of 6) I also met with a Rep. from BCBS to discuss my contract with them and to make sure they do cover everything for the surgery because the Catholic Diocese (the company i work through) has ALOT of restrictions in their contract for us and i'm hoping everything goes as smooth as a as possible.
