Hello everyone!!  Welcome to my exciting life - or what is going to become my exciting life.  I am 35 and I have been overweight my entire life.  I can not remember a time when I was not on a diet.  NO...I don't blame my parents, or being a middle child, or anyone but myself.  I created in me a person who was unable to control my eating, emotions, and social life.

BUT...I am in control now.  I am looking forward to a life without being overweight.  Riding my horse, my bike, going hiking with my children...being able to hug my children and have them hug me back!! 

People have tried to convince me not to have surgery, but this is my choice and I am ready to have this lifelong change.  No, it is not easy...as so many people have discovered, but it is either change or die from other related complications.  I CHOOSE LIFE!!!

So - anyway.  I am going to have surgery as soon as I get all my prerequirements done.  I have one support meeting left and then I am on my way!
