I have two weeks

Today is Monday, July 12th 2010... I have two weeks until I go to the hospital and have Gastric By-pass surgery. I am excited, nervous, and extremely anxious!! I started my liquid protein diet today and will have to continue it up until the day before surgery. [Surgery is scheduled for July 26th]
I can not believe that in two weeks, life as I know it will change forever. Just the thought alone is enough to terrify me... but I am keeping the faith and I know that this will be for the best. I will be able to live my life the way I want to live it.
I really want to thank my fiance' Tim for being sooo supportive. He has been my strength for so long! I worried how it [surgery] might affect him and our relationship as a whole, but he has been so amazing. He has encouraged me every time there has been doubt shadowing my decision to go through with this. He reminds me that I am doing this so that I can be healthier and feel better. I want this more than anything now, because he has helped me to see all the good that will come from getting this surgery. I have him to thank for getting this far [I would have chickened out].
So, to my fiance' Tim-- I want to say thank you for being my rock!! Thank you for everything you have given to me and all the many many things you are yet to give to me. I love you, baby!!!
