New light
Aug 16, 2010
I am so thankful for this journey. This year has been full of great things and even when things are not good it is all good in Gods timing. I turned 50 this year. My son graduated from high school and received a full scholarship to attend and play football at RICE University, we know that God is good. Empty nest is a reality to recon with. I decided that it was time to really take control and truly find what my passion is and I am traveling that road to discovery. I have make a Bucket list. I am coming up to 3yrs post op in Nov. and I am still happy that I make the choice to live. The few health issues that ill around are from the YEARS of wearing out my joins with the weight. I have lost over 115 lbs and I really need to build up my muscle strength this year. One of the bucket things that I achieved was to volunteer for Extrema Makeover on a house here in Houston and enjoyed it so much it really make me happy to be a part of such a event. I am trying to look for the joy in everything I do and say. Watch out world I am ready to RIDE.
