"I was well taken care of and they did their best to make me feel as little pain as possible. I also read some woman on here who said she didn't have a bath in her room, just a shower. Well, if you have gastric bypass surgery, you are not allowed to submerge fully in water for a month, so it is a moot point. Anyway, I didn't have any problems and I thought they were very attentive to details."
"It was 24.99 per bottle, but at the time I bought it, they had a buy one, get one half off. I thought the taste wasn't too bad; tasted like apricots to me and was surprisingly sweet."
"I utilized Dr. Svrakic for a psychological evaluation. The evaluation only lasted 30 minutes. He was not terribly thorough, but he did give a positive recommendation to me for surgery."

Consultation went just fine w/ Dr. Wagner. He indicated that, since the last time we spoke in 2003, he had changed from doing open RNY surgeries to laparascopic, and he would be able to do mine laparascopically. I am very pleased with this! He said in the last year, he has done about 100 lap. RNYs and has only had four occasions of significant complications, with no morbidities.
<b>March 25, 2005</b>
I have a consultation scheduled w/ Dr. Wagner on Monday, March 28, 2005. I have met with him before, but since it has been well over a year, I need to meet with him again so he can do a fresh assessment of me. I am sure it will go fine.
<b>March 14, 2005</b>
Dr. Fabito is retiring (again!). I was told his last surgery date is April 14 or thereabouts. My short term disability benefit is not available to me until after May 1, 2005, so I am switching to Dr. Wagner who, as you can see by the history here, I consulted with in late 2003. I may need another consultation with him, since it has been such a long time since the first consultation.

Tentatively putting Dr. Fabito as my doctor as I am doing research on him and others.

<b>Dec 04, 2003</b>
First meeting with Dr. Wagner.
<br><br>
First impression of him is that he is quiet and humble.
<br><br>
His assistant, Sarah, is personable, efficient, organized, and sensitive.
<br><br>
I didn't find anything objectionable about Dr. Wagner during this visit.
<br><br>
He has not gone into aftercare too much, but he is connected to the New Start program, which does emphasize aftercare.
<br><br>
The New Start program has a structured aftercare program.
<br><br>
I asked him many questions about the risks and statistics related to his surgical experiences. In general, the risks for this type of surgery were discussed in the New Start seminar.
<br><br>
At this point, I would rate him, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being very good) an 8.
<br><br>
I don't know about his surgical competence yet, but his bedside manner is very quiet. He does not seem to be a showy person."
