Today is my birthday, in September of last year I was told that if I didn't do something about my weight I may not live to see my birthday....Well I had the surgery and now here I am having a wonderful day celebrating 29yrs. expecting more for the future.

        I am on phase 3 which is no starch and no steaks but all else is fine as long it is tolerated.  I am so excited, I have 3mo. left of this phase then I can move forward couldn't ask for better results.

        I just wanted to let everyone know I am on puree food now.  Had a rocky start, but it is going smooth.  I am enjoying life again.  I will be on puree food for a month then on to very little solid food I am kinda scared, but I know God has his hands on me and all will go great.

I have had my surgery and I am doing great I could not ask for better.  I am still on liquids for another 2 weeks but I look forward to being on pureed food really soon maybe time will fly.....lol  I am so excited for a new beginning and I am walking more and enjoying life.  I will be posting updates periodically.  God Bless.

Hello Everyone, just wanted to let you know that my surgery is this morning.  I have to be there at 7am and the procedure will start about 9am.  Everyone please remember me in prayer.  God Bless!!!

Well on the 27th I was in the ER for smothering and found out I had a touch of pneumonia, called my sugeons office and told them and they said that if I feel ok then they may go ahead with the surgery, but if I still feel bad they may have to pospone my surgery.  I have a Dr. appointment on the 7th of Feb. the day before my surgery to find out if all is well, and good to go forward with the surgery.

Tomorrow 1/19/2011, I go to the 4hr. dietician class, then Pre-Op visit with the surgeon for updates and lab work, and lastly I go to ParkWest Medical Center in Knoxville to be preregister and speak with the anesthesiologist.  I can't wait, hopefully the day will go by quickly.
