heres my story......... It started in high school I was larger than 95 % of he other kids. I didnt have many friends and the ones I had, liked to make fun of me when I wasnt around. I ate whenever I was alone and also whenever I was with others even if I just finished eating a big meal. I loved eating alone the more I ate the better I felt. College came and more of the same. eating dinner at the cafeteria than going to the room for a large pizza sometime ordered in another persons name. Left college and started working where i meet my wife and soul mate. She also liked to eat. we started out life by spending lots of money on fine restaurants and fine food. At 25 I started to have the surgury but because of complications the surgeon only did half of it. The next year I had it reversed because losing 150 lbs made me feel I could keep it off. No luck within 8 months all weight back plus more. Jump ahead to 2002 looking into the surgury again this time with out even seeing a surgeon the nutrition specialist told me the doctor would not do the procedure because of the past surgury. I went away dejected and could not believe I never saw a surgeon to explain why it could not be done. In 2005 my nephew who is a surgeon who did the surgury gave me the name of one of his friends in Mass who said he would see me to see if it could be done. Everything proceding fine than the insurance company says no, it needs to be done in home area. another setback Now forward to june 2007. I see the Bariatric Center of Ellis Hospital. My wife and I make appointments and begin the process. In October 2007 I start medifast, I lose 91 lbs before my surgury date which was set. for February 5, 2008. I come out of it fine. My wife and I begin our new lives together as we start to shrink together
