Rough Road, Ready 4 Change

It's been a long 47 years and many pounds added, but I'm in a place now where I have to do something or die! I want to see all my kids grow and have their own. I want to have some quality time with my wife as we are getting older. So I'm having the surgery although still apprehensive about it. I guess time will be the biggest obstacle all the waiting and stuff. I really am looking for HONESTY in the post, I know it can not be all Wine & Roses, there are problems, regrets, feelings, depression. I want to hear about it all as this will prepare me and others like me for the road ahead. I'm looking forward to making / meeting new friends along this journey on the Road to GBS.. Would love to hear from people and how they are feeling and whats happening with their journey, I'm a great listener if someone needs to vent or if someone just needs to talk..
