"My first impression of Dr. Chung was that he was a caring person, very professional and he has a great sense of humor. His attention to detail is awesome. I have never found a doctor that had all of these qualities. Usually if you find a good surgeon his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. His office staff is second to none. Marcie is Dr. Chung's right hand woman and she really takes care of everything. It was very comforting knowing if I had problems once I was discharged from the hospital I could call her 24/7 and get a live person not an answering service. They have an incredible aftercare program. We have support group meetings once a month and I really enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing our experiences. Dr. Chung did not "sugar" coat anything when it came to the risks associated with this surgery. He met with my husband and I and explained everything in great detail and answered every question we asked with the utmost concern. There are no numbers to rate Dr. Chung he is the best...so can I say 11 on a 1-10 scale? The thing that most impressed me is he did exactly what he said he was going to do. If he told me I will be back later tonight to check on you - he did. Even if it was 8:30 p.m. he showed up just like he said he would. My favorite quote of his is "I'm not God you know" Well... maybe he's not but I have my life back now and I have to say he rates right up there with him in my book.
