HERE IS MY UPDATE.

I  HAD MY SURGERY ON 10-10-2007 AND I THOUGHT THE FIRST DAY AFTER SURGERY, THAT I HAD MADE A BIG MISTAKE. THE NURSES WERE BOTHERING ME EVERY FIVE MINUTES AND WITH MY VEINS COLLASPING, I THOUGHT THE PAIN WILL NEVER END. I HAD SO MUCH GAS IN MY CHEST THAT IT HURTED TO BREATH, BUT THE GAS SOON PASS AND I WAS FEELING BETTER.  THE DOCTOR ADVISED THAT THE SURGERY WENT WELL AND I WENT HOME A DAY LATER. CURRENTLY, I AM ON A LIQUID DIET FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. I THOUGHT THAT WAS GOING TO BE REALLY HARD, BUT IT ISN'T SO BAD. YESTERDAY, I HAD PRESSURE IN MY CHEST AND I HAD NOT BEEN EATING. I CALLED THE DOCTOR AND HE INFORMED ME THAT MY BOWLS WERE BLOCKED.  HE TOLD ME TO TAKE SOME MILK MAGNESIA AND LATER ON THAT EVENING I HAD A GOOD BOWL MOVEMENT. I WANT TO THINK EVERY ONE FOR THEIR PRAYERS FOR THEY WERE DEFINITLY ANSWERED.

today was my last appointment before surger
I have been on the diet for a week it has been HELL

today i received a phone call from mmcp.I have a date
I can't believe it  it has not even been one month .all praise to god

TODAY I TALK TO KATHY FROM MMPC, SHE INFORMED ME THAT BECAUSE OF MI, I DON'T NEED  BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD  to APPROVAL FOR THE SURGERY. THEREFORE, I AM WAITING FOR THE SURGEON TO CALL ME AND ADVISE OF A DATE. KATHY SAID THAT I SHOULD HEAR FROM THE SURGEON IN A DAY OR TWO.

today it  final shows I have insurance
so I'm only waiting for approve pray for me

my insurance was to take effect 9/1/07
right now it's showing  nothing.I hope mmcp
don't send my information in right now 

I talk to someone from mmcp she said it take about 2-weeksbefore they send information in to the ins.this is how i feel

On 9-6-2007, I had my first appointment with Dr. White and everything went well. I was interested in the dual switch. Dr. White informed me that this procedure was too drastic for the amount of weight I want to lose. On 09-07-2007, I had my psychological evaluation. I discovered that I was not insane. Ha Ha. On 09-10-2007, I had an appointment with the surgent with Dr. Foote. After this consultation, he informed me that all my paperwork was in order and possibly ready for surgery at the end of October. The only thing that scare's me, is that i just switch insurance company from Grand Valley to Blue cross/Blue Shield. My insurance policy with BCBS took effect on 09-01-2007, and when I called to check to see if it was valid, they informed me that I only had dental. I contacted my HR, she advised that it takes several weeks for the policy to go into effect. I praying that the WLS paperwork does not get there before my insurance is showing valid. Keep me in your prayer.
