Rubina, congratulations! I'm here for you if you need support. I had the Lap Band done October 17, 2005 and I have lost thus far 26lbs. I just had my second fill yesterday and I am on liquids again. I am adjusting just great. I can stop trying my old clothes. You have the tool and its up to you to make it work. May greatest feeling is being able to polish my own toenails. I can finally bend down and not be out of breath. I can walk up the stairs and not feel my knees crack. LOL! You are beautiful inside and out. Trust me....you will feel and walk with pride....its different!

Hey Rubina- I am getting ready to turn in for the evening..Just want to send you hugs & best wishes for your test on Tuesday ( 9:30AM????). This is for Rubina- My name is Patti T & I am Rubina's "angel"... She is schedule for surgery on 1/20/06 w/ Dr. Douglas Ewing ( Lap Band). Please join me in sending her paryers & wishes fopr a speedy recovery & of course for a very "uneventful" post-po recovery! I know how excited that she is about having this procedure- I just want to wish her much succcess in her upcoming journey to being on "the losing side"..P.S...I know she is on her treadmill as she is probably reading this!!!
