first, all praises to god and his son for guiding dr.drew's hands. i am now six days post op. i feel GOOD. i had surgery on oct.13th. i was released on the 14th. my surgery was over in two hours. the only problem i had was my lousy crummy veins. they kept sticking me to find a decent vein. BUT I PULL THROUGH LIKE A CHAMP! i got up to go to bathroom. i got off the toliet all by myself. i was to busy gossiping on the phone to worry about how sick i was. the night of my surgery, i was up roaming the hallways. now that i am at home, i am trying to get use to the new eating regimen. i am walking everyday. i'm on a pureed diet. one fourth cup of creamed soup, yogurt, and protein drink.some days are better than others. thank god i havn't vomited. knock on wood. i tolerate water pretty good. thanks everyone for their words of encouragement and prayers. love you guys. i hope that next group of people have sucess with their surgery. i love this website! to all my brothers and sister in the struggle. HANG IN THERE! god bless you! SHALOM!
