I've been "thinking about" this surgery for several years -- even had an initial interview with a surgeon in 2002, but wasn't approved by insurance and didn't keep trying. Fast forward to 2008, and here I am again ~ now with some great co-morbidities 
~ I worked on the insurance submission for almost a year, and it has finally been approved as of the end of June, 2008.
