I have struggled with my weight for many years and now I have the courage, with the support of my best friend and husband, to try a different path  After attending the information meeting at the FirstHealth Bariatric Center in Pinehurst,NC I have decided that I want Dr. Mitchell to be my Doctor.  I finished my packet and sent it in.  I've had my shrink test, a bone density test and a thyriod test (which awarded me a prescription for meds for my "under" producing thyroid. I hope that doesn't keep me from being able to have the wls.
