Woot Woot!!! I have a surgery date finally!  Exactly 1 month from today actually!  All of a sudden what seemed like an eternal journey...seems REALLY close:)

I have spent my entire life overweight and obese...what is one more month right?  Just when I thought I had everything figured out though my husband just changed jobs, and now he is on the midnight shift.  Now I need to figure out who can stay with the kids overnight while I am in the hospital for (presumably) 2 nights.  It will all work out.  I have faith!

Finally!  After jumping through all the hoops my insurance company could throw at me...I finally got my letter for surgery approval!!!  I started this journey technically last year-only to get blown out of the water by what my insurance doesn't pay.  So restarted process with a new attitude (this is MY time) January 2011! This last 8 months seemed eternal...now I should get my date early this week.  One month pre-op for liquids then...on to the new me!
