Well I was banded on 12/11/09.  I guess we had a little problem with the anteseologly I didn't want to come out of it. I stayed overnite at the hospital. It's day 4 post op I am still sore.  Even though I am sore I am so happy I did this. I am already off my diabetes meds. Doc told me to stop taken the actos and to cut the metformin in half. He told me to check my blood level before I take the meds yesterday it was 100 today was 95. He took me off my acid reflux meds and my simtvasin for chlosterol. 

12/11/09 I have surgery

Finally  insurance approval. Pre-op appointment with Doc Nov. 17, 2009. I started to lose hope it's been so long.  I'm getting excited now.

Well I had my first visit with the doctor March 5, 2009. I got really bummed out and I've been upset since.  This is the email I got the other day from the doc's office.  "I spoke to your insurance company today. As for weight history requirements, they require documentation that you participated in a physician weight loss program for 6 consecutive months OR two weight programs consisting of 3 consecutive months each. They are looking that you went to a doctor on 6 different occasions, weighed and counseled on diet and exercise."  My pre-ops are all scheduled for March 12, 2009. I've been doing alot of search and realize that maybe 6 months isn't that bad. I'm still bummed.

April 4 2009 went to the therapist today. I really liked the doctor. Everything is looking good .
