I'm disappointed.  Found out my surgeon is booked the month of June and was not told this until today when I found out the nurse/scheduler went on vacation yesterday until June 18.

I've been dealing with the bariatric dept since December and EVERYONE I have talked to or wrote to I gave them the month I wanted to have the surgery which was JUNE.  For many, many reasons I needed to do this in June. Now its not gonna happen in June.  Now I have to re-group, change plans and I'm on hold because I dont know when this will happen. 

Maybe I should wait until next year in June 2014...

Yesterday I emailed to the bariatric team my CPAP usage for the last 30 days.  Now I wait for an email giving me a surgery date.  I've been saying since December that I want the surgery in June.  It has to be in June.  How much you wanna bet its in July?????  I NEVER EVER get what I want in life.  I always end up "settling" and thats what will happen in this case because I want it so bad to be in June.  Oh well, thats life.  If I had not been such an overeater, If I have eaten homecooked meals, If I had not turned into a fast food queen, I wouldnt be so fat and unhealthy so its my punishment to not get the surgery date I prefer so I should just get used to it.

I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself today.  I'll be okay tomorrow.

I joined Charter Fitness this weekend.  In fact, my family (hubby and both grown kids and my mom) joined also.  They are in this with me 100%.  Because of my bone on bone arthritis in my right knee (left knee had a total knee replacement in 2009) and arthritis in my shoulders and back, I'm using the exercise bike and doing some weight training thats suppose to help with my arthritis discomfort and will probably help me to lose some weight without trying.

I have my final NUT visit next week and an endoscopy scheduled for 5/29 and I'm officially done with my pre-op requirements and they will give me a surgery date.  I hope and pray its in June because I want to be recuperated enough by the middle of August when league bowling starts.  I'm in 3 leagues and I'm pretty sure I will score better weighing less!  LOL!!!!

March and April was pretty busy for me.  Once I was chosen to have the surgery there were a ton of requirements that required loads of doctor's appointments and procedure appointments.  I'm sure everyone else has been through all this already but its new to me.  The last appointment is the endoscopy which I couldnt get until May 29 and I'm not real happy about that .  I wanted it done in  April or early May. But I see I'm not going to get everything MY WAY!
