One Week Post Op

Well today if one week after surgery. I had my surgery on 9/8/2008. I weighed in at 181 pounds. As of today 9/15/2008 I weight 172. I cant believe how fast the weight comes off. It is very exciting!!
I can actually say that I didnt have too much pain in the hospital. I guess that is all thanks to the pain medication. I slept almost the whole time when I was in there. I would wake up every hour and have pain so I would use the pain medication. I had a lot of nausia too. When I finally got food I couldnt keep it down. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day becuase I couldnt keep anything down.
I had some gas pain that would not go away. I would walk around and rub my belly to try to move it down and it would move from under my rib cage to my back. It was very painful.
After I got home it got better. I still get tired when I try to do things so I can only do a little at a time.
The liquid diet was ok at first, I am now on stage 2 and I cant wait to eat some food. I don't really get hungry but when I smell food it is very hard to not eat it :) lol.
I have 2 weeks of this stage left still. I can't wait to eat.
