"I called for a Consultation and to my shock I was going to get one in 2 days, but I couldn't make that day, so Casey told me she would send me out the paperwork and that would give me a chance to fill it out, and I'm really Glad she did, so my appointment was a week from the day I first called. I went to Fresno on Feb 21,02 and I was so scared, but everyone there is really nice. I didn't get to see Dr. Felix, but I did meet his Asst. and he was really nice. He told me several times that this is not to be taken lightly and that it will take dedication, and he also explained the risks. I got my lab slip and went on my way to take my blood tests. I finally found the place and went in were the lady that took my blood was the sweetest person, and it didn't hurt. When I was done I was off to the main hospital to take my Chest X-ray and my EKG. I walked over to the main Hospital and signed in and they took me right away. I gave the lady my paperwork and my Insurance card and then off to Radiology for my chest X-ray ... oh boy when I was called, a nice young guy took me to a room and gave me a gown to put on from the waist up ... oh man what we wouldn't do huh?...lol Then a guy from X-ray came and got me to take my x-rays ... he was very nice...after we got that done it was back to registration so the lady there could call for me to have my EKG. When that lady came to get me she gave me a gown and told me to put it on from the waist up... hhhmmm I was thinking why didn't I just leave it on from the x-ray?...lol Well it was really weird laying on there exposed ... when I was done I asked her how it looked she said it looked fine... Well, On Friday I got a call in the late afternoon from DR. Felix office saying that they needed to fax my EKG to my Doctor cause I have a rapid heart beat, she asked me if anyone has ever told me that before. hhhmmmm No I told her, but I wanted to know what that meant.. She told me that I would have to have my Doctors, OK before they could do the Surgery... Well, I will wait a little bit and then I will call my Doctor and find out what was going on... Oh by the way if anyone needs directions DON'T USE YAHOOMAPS...I looked it up and they wanted me to drive 1hr and 54mins, well I said forget that! If anyone is coming from my neck of the woods take 99 South to Herndon exit, make a left on Herndon to Fresno St. make a right and follow that until you get to the red brick buildings his office is behind the ones in the front so you will have to pull into the driveway ... its really not hard to find... If you need the lab..take Fresno St. to Herndon make a right and follow that for a few miles and it will be on your left hand side and you will have to go all the way to the back and lab will be in middle building next to the main hospital.( just in case you need to know). Well, I will let you know more when I do. So to Dr Felix's office I give a thank you, they have been great so far.

Well I had my surgery on April 23 and I have to say that Dr. Felix has been nothing but Nice to me always with a smile and he makes me laugh... Thank you Dr. Felix for your understanding and caring.
