10 1/2 mos. out!

Well the last few months have been hard. I developed some pretty bad back pain over the last few months. This was a bummer primarily because I haven't been able to work out since February. I have still SLOWLY lost some weight but unfortunately won't be at my goal weight by my one year anniversary :( I have to look at the positives tho. I've lost 77 lbs in 10 1/2 months. I'm a size 10/12 dress and pant and a small/medium top. I can shop at Forever 21, Old Navy and Target and not even worry about pulling a top off the shelf and it be too tight. Shopping is fun for the first time in my life! I'm at 173lbs and am still trying to get down to that goal weight!! I really would like to reach it by October which is my 30th birthday! Gotta stay motivated.....

Holy plateau!!! It's been about 4 weeks since I've lost any pounds. I say it that way because I have been working out like a mad woman and I have lost inches! I am down to 181lbs. I'm a size 12 comfortably. My muscle tone is awesome and I don't have any visibly loose skin. I'm cutting back on carbs to see if I can bust past my plateau. I'm happy where I am and am still hoping to reach my goal of 132lbs by my one year mark in June.

I'm almost 5 months out. I'm down 56lbs and my BMI is 31.4. I have 11lbs to go to my next "mini goal." 176 was my prom weight, so that will definitely be an awesome number to see! I'm working out with a trainer once a week for an hour. I try to get to the gym 3 to 4 times total a week. I love to see the results and the muscle definition. People are saying I look great and everyone says the same thing when I tell them I still have 55 lbs to my goal weight, that it's too thin. But until I get there I will disagree :). The lowest weight in memory I have is 160. That's what my driver's license says. lol That would be great for it to be true! So 27lbs to go and then it's uncharted territory.... Looking forward to it!

Wow, I can't believe how time flies! I'm back to work and still adjusting little by little. I'm down 44 lbs and broke the 200 mark yesterday!! WOO HOO!! I'm working out 3 - 5 days a week and have a trainer that is soooo motivating that I meet with once a week. I've lost 8 inches in my waist and 3 inches in each thigh. I'm so excited about the results I'm seeing and hearing from other people how great they think I look. I'm so glad I did this!

Well nobody said it was going to be easy. And it's a good thing, because it hasn't been! I'm learning to live my life a new way everyday. Some days are great, some days, not so much. I feel good and I've already lost 24 lbs....If you can imagine in such a short time! I'm really looking forward to being able to work out. I want my energy back and I want to feel strong! I'm slowly starting to introduce soft foods....so far so good. I had a bad bout with some scrambled eggs last week so I will be taking a break from those for awhile! Live and learn I guess!
