"June 20, 2006 Well I had my consult yesterday. Dr. Overcash was everything I expected from the reviews I had read. My appointment was for 9a.m. he was a little late, but I didn't mind. He called my name himself, and weighed me himself. Then we went into a room (my mom came with me). He figured my BMI, then told me the risks. He definately doesn't candy coat anything, and he is straight forward, which is something I do appreciate. He drew a picture of the stomach and explained fully what he does, and what he expects, which was very nice. From there I met with Patrice (Dr. Overcash's weight loss coordinator).She went over everything I have to do to submit a request to the insurance company for aproval. She also answered questions I had about other things, the nutrition class, and billing etc. She was very pleasant and friendly. "
