So it's been 10 years <claps hands> since my roux en y! Thank you Dr. George Ferzli for saving my life. Reflecting back on the decade brings back lots of thoughts, both good and bad, but mostly good. 10 years ago I couldn't walk 200 yards without gasping for air, let alone up and down a flight of stairs. Lots of meds, lots of medical issues. Ten years later and its almost I never was almost 500lbs.
To all here that are conteplating doing the surgery but are worried about the risks, I would suggest going for it.
