Hello friends on OH Thank you so much for your encouraging comments from "wow" 2006! I hadn't found out how to access my private pages at that time! It was and still is difficult for me to sit at my computer. Since that time, I have been down to Utica Ny 4 times and am due to return on the 17 Oct 2007, 2nd post op visit. I had RNY surgery, 26 September 2007! I have been trying to follow the post op diet since then I was 361 when I left for surgery and now I am 325.6, on my scales here, in the house. I have some questions about the fullness of my tummy. It seems that it can hold more than I thought, at times and it is a continued effort to try to stick to 4T of protien, 2T of vegetable and 2T of fruit. I continue to try and hope for the goal of at least 130 lbs. Please take good care...you all ... and be well.

Hi Isabella~ I read your profile and was sorry to learn about your difficulites and your pain. I know it's not a wonderful way to live, but don't give up hope. I learned this through my new friends right here on this board. I'm new here too and haven't had my surgery yet and after reading everyone else's posts and profiles I knew I was in the right place. Everyone here has felt your pain in one way or another and can relate to your situation. Whatever you do, don't you give up. Lean on all of us when things get tough. You can and will have a better life and it's just around the corner. I saw that you enjoy the outdoors and have a pilot's license. That's awesome. It won't be long before you are back doing all your favorite things and we will envy YOU. Your home health provider will have trouble keeping up with you and she will be out of a job! Please stay active on the boards and let us hear from you. I'm looking forward to it. Again, Welcome. Ellen

Isabella, You have my favorite name, I hope to have a grand-daughter named Isabella some day. I just wanted to add my thoughts that you are not alone. I'm terribly overweight (BMI 67) and miserable, but hope that my WLS in July will help me. I'll be thinking of you and checking back. Julie In WA

Isabella, I'm so very sorry that you've had such trying experiences. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers that things will finally work out for you. However, you have found a great place for support, friendship and love. I've yet to find a more supportive community on the web. Isabella - Welcome to the boards!! You will find an amazing group of people here - people who are in all stages of weight loss - those who are planning surgery and those who have had it - you are NOT alone!! The support and encouragement is incredible!
