"Today is 9/15/2011 & I am in the processing of getting approved for the Sleeve to be done by Dr Pop @ Forest Bariatrics in Ypsilant,MI. Using a friends suggestion because she had Dr Pop do her LapBand, I have also chosen him. No complaints with Dr Nunn. Excellent doctor & never pulled no punches with me. Just decided to try another doctor with a different surgery. Will keep all posted when & if I get approval..PLEASE PRAY for that to happen FOR ME. Thanks"
"This update is almost 2 yrs later since I had to have the band removed due to slippage. Did well loosing 50 lbs, but got too tight in Jan 2010 & started having un-fills that didn't help. I chose to have band removed, thinking I could control my diet without it. WRONG, now I am attempting to get the LapBand again thru Barics-Ypsi with Dr Pop. Wish me luck while I jump back on my horse to continue my journey."
"Dr Nunn was excellent in communicating with me. During the consultation for surgery, he was very open & calmed my nerves. Day of my surgery 4/2/07 he had the same bedside manner. I highly recommend him & have no qualmes about talking to him. Rochelle from his office staff was super also. Always available to answer questions. Very informative, never had to get back with me for a difficult question. All in all, the experience was beyond what I expected. Haven't been hospitalized alot in my life."
