Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 87 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hey Shannon, Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I had mine last Monday 3/1/04. I hope you get along as good as me. I had absolutely NO complications and I feel GREAT! I'm sure you will too. I am praying for you. Pam

May God Bless and keep you close at his side as you go through this journey. You must be very excited and nervous all at the same time. This will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself and your family. I know it was for me. Remember you will have ups and downs. You can always turn to your AMOS family for support.
