It's amazing at how fast time flies.  I am offically down 30 lbs!  And really enjoying that change.  It's the first time in my life that the scale has actually continued to GO DOWN.  When I started this journey I was 254 lbs and misrable.  Now, I am 224 and starting to see a light at the end of the tunel.  I am still pretty far from my goal weight of 140 lbs,  but I am getting there!  I am now cycling 20 miles a day 5-6 times a week, and I feel so healthy.  I am about 2 weeks from completing a huge goal in my life.  I will be attending BRAG this year.  It's a cycling even that takes place over a course of a week and we will cycle the width of GA.  It will be about 465 miles, and I am so excited!  I have said for years that I was going to do this....and NOW I am actually going to do it!

Well, I am 18 days out and now on REAL food.  My bands not real tight right now, but I am no where eating what I use to.   I'd say I eat about a third of my usual meal.  I am down 15 lbs!!  I wish it came off faster, but I know I didn't put it on over night....so it's not coming off the same either.  Just so excited to get into some cute clothes again.  I was down to only 2 outfits that fit...and they only fit because I had to cut the sides of my skirts!  Well, yesterday I ordered some new clothes from Old Navy, because It's pretty rediculious to wear winter clothes when it's 80 degrees outside.  Tomorrow I will make my first visit to the gym since the surgery...So, I'm looking forward to that!

Well, I had my sugery on Monday, spent the night at Emory and came home yesterday afternoon.  I slept pretty much all day yesterday and today I have been getting around a little bit better.  Still in a lot of pain and I have thrown up a few times today...but all this is worth it .  By winter I am going to be loving my body :)

WOW, has time flown by.  I cannot believe that this time tomorrow I will be in the hospital recovering!!!  I am so excited, but nervous at the same time.  I am so ready for this new step in my life! 

This is my first time on here.  I have been looking for a place where I can keep up with how I'm doing, and others that are in the same boat as me.  I will be having my Lap Band surgery this Monday, March 5 and I can hardly wait!  Yesterday, I went to Emory for my Pre Op and it was the first time I got butterflies in my stomach.  It was the first time it REALLY set in that I was going to happen.

I have been on a liquid diet since Thursday of last week....and today is going rough....All I can think about is eating something.  I hate it when I can't shut my thoughts up!!  I'm just plugging away at today and trying to remind myself that this is 2 weeks for the rest of my life!  

My energy level is so low.  I'm 24 and so ready to live my life like I should be.  I'm so tired of being tired all the time!!!!!
