Well I am 5 wks out and am down to 257! I was at 255.4 last week but... have been doing cardio and seem to haved gained which I don't get at all!!! I should be way down!!! I am eating every 2-3 hrs and getting lots of water, most days I get all my protein in or pretty close to it! I am frustrated!!!!! HELP

So I had the surgery on Tues, and today is friday and thankfully I am home! The bed at the clinic was awefull! Last nite in my own bed I did so much better! The gas is subsiding but I think it will take another week or so to be totally gone. The fluid diet I am on is okay, I am not very experimental as a rule but I think will force that some! Well thats all for now thank heavens I am on the losing side now!

Well I have tried in vain to attach a ticker with no luck!!! If anyone sees this and knows what I am doing wrong please fell free to let me know!!! HAHAHA On to bigger more exciting news, I have a date: July 3rd. 3 weeks from today! I am so excited, I go next Tues to my preop. My sister has surprised me with full support! She is even going to go with me (which is awesome!) We are both nurses, so it will be nice to have her there. I bought my first jar of protien yesterday it wasn't too bad. When I go to the states to get groceries this week I will get some of the carnation bkfst sugar free stuff I hear people talking about. Last week I bought some of the bullets, the one I tried blueraspberry, was nasty! Then I read on here they aren't so good for us?? So anyway I will keep trying to find good proteins that are palatable!

WOW my Dr just called. I AM APPROVED!!! Yay! I cannot wait for this to happen! I cannot wait to be able to pull my own socks on, not have to do a dance to pull my panties up, and the most embarrasssing, wipe my bum!!!! I am going to count down every day until the first day of the rest of my life!!!

Well It's been a long weekend and I thought mabey I might have heard something just based on the fact that ohip had faxed my dr... But um no! So I sit and I worry and I wonder, what if.... what if.... what if.... Well anyways I guess there is nothing I can do I will mabey give ohip a call near the end of the week and see if they can tell me how things are progressing...Until then, what if they say no? what if they say no? what if they say no? what if they say no? It's stressful to try and patiently wait!!!  

Well the ohip battle begins, I think??? My Dr called me late yest to tell me that ohip had already called him and wanted to know which surgery (because he forgot to fill that in). So I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is a sign that ohip is considering in my favor!! (yay!!!)
