"I had my surgery with Dr. Kurian on May 24th, 2005. She is one of those very rare individuals who speaks to you as though she has known you since grade school. Her warmth and caring is exemplary, especially for a surgeon! Even in the operating room she made sure to extend herself and reassure. The Grateful Dead music that she had playing in the background certainly contributed to helping calm me. What can I say except that I hope all of you wind up in such capable hands. "
