Well, I've done it! I hit my own personal FINAL goal of 150 pounds. It has been 15 months and 1 week since my surgery. I was 375 the day I had surgery, but 410 when I started this process. I've gone from a 5x to a M or Lrg. I'm currently a size 10-12 or 11-13 depending on which department I shop in. I love having the choice!! I am OVERJOYED with my progress and now, the time has come to tone up and get rid of the rest of the "flab". Loving life and moving forward. Now my personal goal is to LIVE my life the way I want to and do some things I've wanted to do, but couldn't!
Thanks to my OH family, my own family and friends and Dr. Wade Barker.
I could NOT have done this without you all!!

Folks, this is the way to live. Healthy, happy, beautiful...3 things I haven't felt in over 15 years. Now, I can be here for my almost 15 year old daughter and watch her grow into the beautiful woman she has became!

Alot of people have asked me the same question, so I'm going to post my response here so that everyone can read it. I hope it helps:
Congrats on your journey. As far as excess skin, it really depends on a few factors. 1)age 2) genetics and 3) how much work you put in (workouts). I am insane with workouts. I am VERY fortunate to have VERY little excess skin so I will not have to have surgery. I have been able to work my skins elasticity into great shape by weight training and swimming (a GREAT after surgery passtime). I am nearly 35 so still young enough for my skin to conform back to its shape. My problem areas were my arms and inner thighs, but I'm working hard to get that toned and it is working. Follow your protein regime because it helps EAT/BURN the fat as you lose weight. If you work out after surgery you will HAVE to increase your protein intake to about 100 grams per day. (Working out BURNS Protein fast so u have to supplement more). If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me! Peace and Love to ALL.

LIFE is great after surgery!! I'm now 179 pounds and coming from 410....that is INCREDIBLE....I wear a size 14 in Misses...15 in Juniors. My shirt sizes are Medium or Large depending on the cut....a LONG way from 5X I promise. NEVER thought I'd be here again. 4 pounds till i reach my PERSONAL goal of 175 pounds. It is coming and I love it!! THANK GOD and DR> BARKER....Miracles do happen and dreams do come true!

Life for me is changed. I've moved back to my home town, got engaged to my best friend of 23 years....am healthier and happier than I have ever been. No more sleep apnea for me!! I have about 25 pounds to goal which I hope to reach soon. I am planning a ridiculous fairytale wedding, and I found the dress of my dreams!! Life is good!! Love and peace!!
