Hey to everyone I was sleeved yesterday. My surgeon requires a 2 night hospital stay. I will be going home tomorrow on Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be grateful for. I haven't feel great and wish I could leave today. I haven't had any pain just soreness in my stomach area of course or any nausea or vomiting. My surgeon was wonderful. I can't believe this is finally happened. I've waited so long jumped through so many hoops to get to this point. If anyone out there is considering or going through the process don't give up.

Today I got some great news. I got the call that I was approved for my surgery. With my surgery date set for 11/25/14. I'm so excited. I have been over weight all my life. I can't wait to finally get a life. I just want to be able to walk without having knee and back pain and be able to ride rides at an amusement park without having to be squeezed into the seat. The other day I had to take my 8 year old daughter a jacket to school because she left her's. Well last night we were talking about feelings and the healthy way to express them. She asked me if it was okay to tell someone something if you know it will hurt their feelings. I told her she should always tell the truth. She told me that a boy in her class made her feel sad. I asked her why and she goes on to tell me that the little boy told her that her mommy was fat. She told the little boy that "No" that her mommy was beautiful. I was so proud of her!!!! So yes I'm very excited I can't wait. 

Hi to everyone. I've been lurking around reading  everyone else's postings. So I've finally decided to post. I've just completed my 3 month physician monitored weight loss program. I have an unofficial surgery date of 11/24 pending my labs and insurance approval for gastric sleeve. I'm nervous and excited. I pray everything goes as planned
