Dear Caroline- I was just browzing & came across your web page- you have gone through such an amazing transformation! You are certainly an inspiration to me, especially since you kept on losing right to the very end when you reached goal. I had surgery in Nov of 03, have only lost about 80-85 lbs & have been stuck at 200 for many months now(need another 50-60 to go). Seeing your pics & learning of your journey gave me hope that I can restart the losing process and have another shot at getting to goal. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! The one thing that has secretly terrified me about the whole WLS thing is the skin issue. After reviewing your profile and seeing your journey unfold in living color I have a renewed confidence in what Im doing. Im a visual person and seeing did more for me than all the people Ive talked to. Thank you again for being so brave and generous as to put your whole life out there for those of us that need to really know and see the details.

Hi Caroline. I have been jumping through hoops for the past year trying to get thing moving for bariatric surgery. I have finally been approved and have a surgery date of March 14th! I wanted to tell you that your profiles/pictures have been an absolute Godsend to me. You willingness to be so open and honest has been most helpful. From what to expect pain wise to what to expect skin wise. Knowing the truth about what I face makes facing it much more managable. It has given me the opportunty to hash through my emotions over each different thing and draw honest conclusions. I have been keeping up with you on your plastic surgery pics/info as well. I cannot believe the trouble you had with all the letters you wrote and all your medical issues!! I'm happy for you that they finally gave in! I eagerly await your picture updates. I can't wait to see how your arms are looking. Also I am interested in what a matured scar will look like. Thank you for everything.. wishing you continued success,
