I just realized I have achieved one of my goals.  I am below 200 pounds.  It sure feels great.  My next goal is to make it to "Onederland".  I have 22 pounds to go. 

Hi Everyone,

It's a great day!  I weighed myself.  I have lost 60 pounds.  I can't believe I have lost that much.  It feels great.  I feel great.  I am doing things it's been years since I have attempted them.  I am doing things I have never done.  I am 81 pounds from the low end of my goal range.  I can do this!  So can anyone else reading this blog.

Hi Anyone Reading This,

I decided I was going to be naughty and have some junk food.  I bought a small can of Pringles.  After I left the store, I couldn't get the can open fast enough.  I put that chip in my mouth and munched away.  It was awful.  It didn't taste like it did pre op.  I had to spit it out.  That's what I get for not following directions.  I am back on the straight and narrow.  I knew I shouldn't stray, but I did.  It wasn't worth it.

I am almost 7weeks post op.  I have lost 47 pounds and 13 inches off my waist.  I am just amazed it is coming off so fast.  I thank God every day that I have a day with no complications from my surgery.  My recovery has been almost perfect.  I am finally able to get most of the things in I am supposed to every day.  It's been a long had struggle to be able to do that. 

It's almost 4:30 in the morning.  I can't sleep.  These spells have been happening less since my surgery.  I am 18 days out today.  As of 2 days ago, I have lost 30 pounds.  I had a bladder infection last week.  That has been cleared up.  I am still having trouble getting everything in.  I have protein, fluids, and exercise as my top priorities.  But other than that, all is going well.

"S" day is here.  Wow  finally.  It seems to have haken forever.  8 hours until the appointed time.  I will write in here later.

I needed to change colors for this one.  16 hours and 15 minutes until the appointed time.  I'm ready, a little apprehensive, but confident I'm doing the right thing for me.  I will have the laptop with me at the hospital so I can keep up.

It's nine days until surgery.  I have five work days left.  When I leave work on Tuesday.  I am finished until August.
I am a little apprehension about surgery.  I keep telling myself you've done the research.  You have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Cacucci.  You are going to do what they tell you to do.  I am ready. 

I went to the pre op class today.  Wow what a lot of information.  I didn't feel overloaded though.  I think the info all right there in fron fof me helped a lot.  They have thought of, it must be, everything. I have pre op tests tomorrow.  I'm not too thrilled about being poked and prodded, but i'll survive.

After a year of working on this. I got approved this week. It's been a long road. I know it's just starting. I am really excited, apprehensive, and gung ho. The insurance company lost my paper work. I waited over a month for them to finally tell me they had lost it. They only told me because they thought I was with the doctor's office. The benefits specialist at the surgeon's office was integral in getting the paperwork found and acted upon. I really appreciate her help. I tried to set-up my pre-op class for next week. I thought I'd do it then so I don't need to take time off for it from work. It was not to be. I don't have a surgery date. I got the official letter from the insurance company yesterday. I'm going to take it to the surgeon's office for them to copy. I'm on vacation. I don't have access to a fax machine. I've got to take care of some things so I'll do it while I'm out. I hope things really move now....
