I had pre-op today! Met with the Dr, Dietician and Anesthesia. Things went well. The doctor wasn't impressed that I had gained 7 lbs over the past 9 months but he said I will lose at least 15 on the full liquid diet. I have to start that on Monday. I think the first few days will be the hardest. I know I have to do it so i'll make it through. I also have to get an Upper GI just so the Dr can see everything and make sure I don't have any hernias or anything. Surgery feels so close. I can't believe it's almost here! I am still in the progress of making sure I have all of my vitamins and protein supplements that I need for when I come home from the hospital. I am trying to get prepared early so I dont have to worry about anything after surgery. I am going to enjoy my last few days of eating and then Monday, i'll be miserable! 16 days to go!!!!
