Well made a bad judgment today at work. I lefted some boxes of calendars that I think did not weigh more then 20 pounds but can't be sure. I sure hope I have not hurt the healing. (I always worry about leaks) :( I am calling Freda today to make sure of what to watch for and will not be doing that again at least for a while!! I know that was stupid but I needed to get it done. Taking it easy for sure the rest of the week. Other then being a notty girl I am still doing great other then getting tired. My grandbabies came to see me yesterday, they have not seen me in about a week or so. First thing they say to me is Nana you look different! LOL The oldest she is 8 says you look healthy! LOL They are so cute. My grandson knew about the surgery and everyday would say when are you going to get skinny? (He's 5) Guess he thought after surgery you came out that way. (out of the mouths of babes) One thing for sure you can always get honesty from the kids :).

Today is 15 days since surgery and I am back at work :( wanted to stay home an play LOL. I am feeling pretty good but still get a little tired at times. Not sleeping well at night for some reason. I have had a hard time staying comfortable so I toss an turn a lot. Hope to get that question answered tonight at meeting if I can remember to ask Freda if she is there. Some of my favorite sleeping ways are no longer comfortable to me so I don't rest well at all. And the hiccup's are driving me crazy LOL. But all in all still doing great.

Aug. 12th 11 days post op still get tired easy around afternoon time but still doing good other wise. Sticking to the plan as Dr. B ask :) Had to send Mama home yesterday :( I will miss all the good care she gave me not to mention the company. I will be going to see her soon though. Thank you again to everyone who sent prayers and had me in their thoughts the support as I have said all along is awesome. My famliy was also so awesome through the surgery and after, couldn't ask for a more loving family than mine. :)

Six days post op now an feeling stronger everyday, so far I have been doing great! Still get tired but all in all doing really good. Hope to see everyone at the meeting.!

I am home!! Feeling very tired and hoping to get feeling better each day. My weight was down to 295 when I left the hosptial. Thank you to everyone for their prayers and thank you Debbie for coming to see me. That was a wonderful surprise. My Mother can't stop talking about how cute you were. :) I will write again soon. Hugs to all!!

Today was my post op meeting with Doc. B and registration at the hospital plus blood work. Doctor B only ordered the blood work be done and no other test. He also took those ugly pic's that I am sure we all hate. (LOL) Oh well will have some great ones in the future to put with them. :) Freda is so sweet and easy to talk to. She gave me my first B12 shot along with answers to questions. Went to the store after an got some of the things I will need, will get more this weekend before surgery on Monday. Still I am feeling calm hope it continues. :)
Will try to write again in here Sunday night before Monday. Have to be
at the hospital at 7:30 surgery is at 9:45. Starting weight was 303.

Hubby and I went to my first and last meeting before my surgery last night. What a awesome group! Everyone is so nice and willing to answer any questions that you throw at them. As always after I left I could think of more LOL! That is the way its supose to work I think if not it works that way more often than not :) go figure! It was great to meet everyone and I look forward to more meetings after my surgery. Thank you all for all the prayers an good wishes on my surgery day, it's great to have so much support. Well gotta feed the old man. (He thinks he is starving again) LOL!!

Went to a church that my oldest son his wife and all my grandbabies go to. Our youngest son that is almost 24 and his wife also came to watch the newest baby be christened. What a great day!! My son's are the greatest a mother could ever have. As we neared the end of the service my youngest son said Mom you need to go up there and let them say a prayer for you, me shaking my head no, he said I will go with you and before I knew it I had one son by the arm and the oldest son by the other arm. WOW!! What a feeling to have their suport and love at that moment. :) They both asked for prayer for my up coming surgery in Aug. As the preacher prayed I could not hold back the tears or the love for my sons that have for so long made me proud. To my sons I love you both very much!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love an support. God truly is a awesome god! :)

July 5th Well its back to work after the great 4th celebration. Always love the time me and my family get to spend together. Wanted to add a promise to myself in my journey. I promise to keep my progress up to date for as long as I can for the new and old of WLS. Never seems to be enough of the really old timers around to get info from or just to see there progress after two or three years. There are a few 4 and 5 years but that has been the longest just about. With this promise the good lord willing, I hope to be able to live a long an happy WLS life to share with all the newbees. :)

June 23rd I have gotten everything set as far as date an time and Freda has sent me my paper work as to the date I see Dr. B the week before sugery. YEA! Now just to relax and go with the flow until the day comes. My Mom will be coming from South Carolina to be here with me :) which is a good thing. Hubby won't be by his self.:) Mom will be great to have around the week after as she is the best care giver in the world. Now all that will be left to do until surgery day is get everything I will need when I get home and spending time with the new baby (Alyssa Marie) and for sure not forgotten my other two grand babies. Kournty and Alex.:) I really am blessed in so many ways. The lord willing I will be here for many many more years to watch them grow up. And many many more years to spend with my wonderful husband and all my family as they are all very important to me and I love each an every one more than they will ever know. Ok enough mushy stuff. LOL. And thank you to Valerie for makeing me laugh so hard about the meeting with the suit. Wish I could have been there. (To Funny). Everyone that supports us newbees that has gone to the loser side are really true Angels!! Thank you each and every one for any and all the help you give. Well better get some dinner for that hard workin man of mine, I don't cook to often anymore so today he will get lucky. LoL
