"Dr. Read is wonderful. He is compassionate and knowledgeable and I appreciate his approach. When I have an appointment with him he sits next to me and looks me in the eye, he is respectful and always willing to talk to me and answer questions. I never feel rushed or like he has something else he needs to run off to and I really value that. He is relaxed and casual and just seems to me like a really cool person. The office staff is awesome too, Greg is always there to answer questions and never makes me feel like I calling for something silly. I called quite a few times in the beginning and was never made to feel bad about that, in fact, it was encouraged. The dieticians are great (I really miss Kelleigh though!) and helped me a lot pre WLS.
A great program. I told Dr. Read he can never retire! (Update Oct 2013 - the worst has happened! Dr Read has left this program but is still at Samaritan and doing surgery there. But, Dr Yarbrough is still there and is also very nice)"
