It's my time to shine

I got the best news on December 23rd, 2009...I have been approved for Lap-band surgery.  I have struggled with my weight all my life.  I have had many medical issues come up over the last 3 years and I am finally going to be able to lose weight and control them. 

My goal is to lose 100 lbs!  I want to be able to go running with my kids.  I am gonna reach my goals this time and I can honestly say I will be able to maintain my new weight for good!

I am ready for a new me.  My time is now!

I am scheduled for surgery on Thursday February 18th, 2010.  I will update this blog as I progress!  Thanks for the support.
