My first blog ever!!!

My little girl is asleep giving me the perfect opportunity start blogging. I found out on April 14th that my lap band surgery will be May 10, 2010. I am super excited. I've been following a low carb diet(dr's orders) for over two weeks and will continue until 2 days before surgery when I switch to liquids only. Bring it on...I can do this! I know a lot of people get nervous about having this surgery and the lifestyle that comes along with it. But, ya know, I am at peace that I've made the right decision. I have prayed about it every step of the way and God has opened every door necessary for this surgery for me. I am so thankful.I'll keep updating as I progress in this journey. I'll leave with this scripture:
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27
There is NOTHING impossible for my God!
