"I had a poor experience with Dr. Aaron Cenero at Cenero Surgery. The patient coordinator does not follow up in a timely manner with her responsibilities and the surgeon is hands off, leaving most of his in-office appointments to a PA. Care was very uncoordinated between office and medical staff; the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. I was out three office visits, all the prerequisite visits, cost of protein powders and vitamins and my part of the surgical fee when my surgery was cancelled 7 days prior to surgery because proper medical clearance had not been obtained from my cardiologist. They had four months between my consultation and surgical date to acquire said documentation. As it turned out, I was never eligible for surgery because I have cardiac stents that are less than a year old. I was not aware there was a waiting period to have surgery post stents, but a surgeon with 13 years of experience should have known that but went ahead to collect on three office visits and shared the wealth with his colleagues having me go to and fro over the last three months getting a psych eval, dietary consults, and GI testing. I'm not eligible for surgery until March 2015 at which time I'll decide if I have the resources to pursue surgery, but it will not be with Cenero Surgery. I've learned my lesson to look for an accredited bariatric clinic with professional, efficient staff, that treats their patients with compassion and not a dollar sign. "
"Vanilla Torte is very much like a vanilla bean, down to the little black specs. If you like vanilla, this is a great selection. It tastes great mixed with water, soy milk, or skim milk in a shaker with shaker ball. It's my favorite of the four choices of Nectar I've purchased."
"I would have probably rated this as Excellent if the shake was not blue. Blue and Red dyes in drinks like these tend to promote gas. The taste is also a bit tart. It can be mixed easily with a Crystal Light in another fruity flavor to tone it down a bit.
