I struggelt all my young life with my weight. My youth was just a nightmare and I ended up at 350.5 lbs (5'5) at the age of 21. I always knew that its not all about my eating habits but at that time no doctor wanted to have a closer look. Well in October 2004 I made a decision. I was 100% sure that I'm going to have the RNY Bypass Surgery I've read of. Its almost unknown in Austria so I thought I might have to come to the USA to get it but fortunately I found my Surgeon Dr. Miller here in Austria. After  found him everything happend so fast. I've got an appointment with him -> got a letter for my insurance -> went there, thinking that one of those doctor wanting to have a look at me as well but i just handed the letter with all my stats in and just 8 minutes later I could call the hospital to get a date for my surgery. So the 29th of December 2004 was my day! 3 Month post-op I've been down to 284 lbs. At six month out my scale showed 242 lbs. and on my first anniversary I've been down to 174 Lbs. in the next 3 month i made it down to 163 lbs. My doctor set the goal at 198 but I set the goal for myself at 143 lbs. Unfortunately I never made it down to my own goal. I've gained some pounds and am back at 174 lbs. I had just one plastic surgery yet. I had a upper arm lift in my 2006. I've planed to get a TT in summer this year. Thats one of the reasons why I want to finnaly reach my goal until October 2007. I've to say that I do have Lipo-Lymphedema in my legs. So my upper body is skinny already but i do have huge legs. I don't know I've I can lose more weight without looking anorexic in my upperbody because I hardly lose any weight on my legs. Well I'll see won't I? Now I'm trying to get back an track, drink enough water, take my vitamines and workout regulary.
