Dear Chris, Well by this time you have had your surgery and are starting the walk on the losing side. I wish you all the best. I can't wait for your story to continue and to write with you about the ups and downs of this journey. Please drop me a line when you are up to it and know that if I can help in any way I am here.

Prayers, hugs and blessings to you as you take this huge step in your journey. May all the negatives and difficulties that have brought you to this point melt away with the excess weight. We hope that your surgery and recovery are swift, smooth, and uneventful.

Just realized that I hadn't posted to your surgery page. Well as you know you will be in my prayers, can't wait to follow you on Tuesday. I am glad we found each other, as you have made this crazy journey alot more bearable. I appreciate all you guidance and support. I will ask God to send an angel to look over you tomorrow, and ask that you have a speedy recovery. Till I see you Tuesday... Hugs, Heather

Hi Christine! Big congratulations on your surgery tomorrow! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! There’s really nothing you can do with all those feelings surfacing. You may start to doubt yourself and question your decision to have surgery. Just about everyone has had this happen to them. You’re making a decision to have a better quality of life and YOU deserve it!! That gut feeling or that little voice inside lets you know that you’re doing the right thing! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re ready to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. You know you can always come here and get a dose of confidence and good will! There are lots of us who have had surgery and are in your corner rooting for you!! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I’m so happy for you. Soon you will be on the other side and will join the ranks of the losers. Get ready for your life to change forever. Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ – Lap RNY, 12/09/03 -46 lbs

Hello Christine: Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. My prayer for you - - ....Strengthen your servant, O God, to do what she has to do and bear what she has to bear; that, accepting your healing gifts through the skill of Surgeons and Nurses, she may be restored to usefulness in your world with a thankful heart. Amen.
