All most there

Hi i am a 33 yr old mom of 2 starting on my weight loss journey. I have for the most part always been over weight, when I was 20 I was 120 pds. Today I look at those pictures and hardly recognize myself. I know having two children has put on some weight but when I started out at 28 trying to conceive I was already 196pds. So since then I have grown to a whopping 238 pds!I have recently been diagnosed with Poly cystic Ovarian Syndrome, and an under active thyroid. Needless to say I am all messed up and I feel like my obesity is the major factor in all of this. I have decided to make the decision to get the VSG surgery in hopes that I will lose my excess weight to be happier and healthy not only for myself but also for my children who are 4 and 5.
Throughout the years I have tried different diets to try and get the weight off, you name it I did. All except for the pill diets, I am not a big pill fan so those diets were not even a thought to me. I lost weight here and there but always gained it back. I am hoping this surgery will be my life saver. I have alot of comorbidies associated with my weight, I just want to be healthy and happy for my children's sake. They have a long to go yet in this life and they need me letting them down is not an option.
So a toast to the new me to come..... watch this space! :)
