I can't believe it's already been a year!   I've lost about 145 pounds, gotten down to a size 12 from a 26/28, and I can do so many things I never even would have tried before!   I haven't gotten the results from my one year lab work yet, but I'm hoping it's all good.   
I even had my own little wow moment when a 13-year-old girl in my daughter's Girl Scout troop asked, "Hey, where did you get those jeans?"   It's a pretty good thing when a teenager actually likes the clothes you're wearing!

Yesterday was my 6th month anniversary (or surgiversary, as some people say!).    I still need to make my 6 month appointment with the surgeon, but I think I'm doing pretty well so far.  I definitely need to work on getting in all the water and be a little more consistent with the vitamins, but I'm improving!   I'm finally wearing sizes that don't have W's next to them and I can shop in most normal stores now!!    I'm down about 100 pounds and I have about 50-something more to go, although I don' t know for sure that I want to lose that much.  I'll have to see how it looks and feels as I go along.  This has been an exciting adventure and so far I'm really happy that I decided to make this change!
