I had open RNY surgery 5 years ago right now i am looking into revision due to enlarged pouch and stoma i have met with Dr. Overcash in Ocala who agrees a revision is needed apparently my original stomach was not made small enuff and and not enuff intestine was bypassed he has scheduled me for an endoscopy on 1/12 so he can see everything for himself, i am worried about what he is going to see i know i have some ulcers as well i dont know if they are healed tho i asked my insurance UHC about the revision and they said cuz my bmi was so low they would only reverse not revise but i havent acually submitted anything yet to ask for revision
revision ok'd as of yesterday! 03/25/2008 surgery scheduled for 4/9/2008!!
