I have been over weight for over 15years and I have tried everything but the weight just would not come off and stay off so I new I had to do something if I ever planned to be happy in my life so I checked into LAPBAND and then found out my insurance would not pay for it even though I had borderline sugar, fatty liver, deadly high blood pressure, so i had to make a way to have it or I felt like I would just give up on myself. I got married to wonderful ma "Paul" that has always loved me for who i am and never once act if he cared if I was over weight but it had got to the point that it was not what everyone esle thought it was me I could not live with my self anylonger looking like this. I never wanted to go off dancing with my hubby becuse I always felt like I was being looked at. I have not taken any blood pressure medicine since I had surgey and it is not high anylonger thinks to LAPBAND AND MY MOM. THIS WAS THE BEST THING i COULD HAVE EVER SPENT MY MONEY ON. I went through alot to get this done and didn't think I was going to get because I needed to come up with $14000.00 but my mom helped me out. I am seeing my sizes drop very often but the weight has slowed down. I just can't wait until I reachmy goal and it would be nice to be there by my birthday 5/07/08 because Iwould say every year I am going to be at 160 by my birthday and never would come even near that. I had my surgery out patient and didn't have any problems was back to work in three days.
