My name is Cindy I live in Louisville, CO. I am 49 years old and have been a single mom for 15 years now. I have struggle with my weight since my 2nd son was born in 1981. When I was younger I was always thin. Now I am 256 lbs and wear a 3x or size 22. I am scheduled for gastric bypass surgery on Sept. 10th 2007. I have gone through 8 weeks of WLS classes and am getting very excited about by upcoming date to a new life. I am nervous about the surgery and have fears about what I will find to eat after, but I am so tired of carrying around this weight, my knees hurting and having no energy. My goal is to be in a size 12 for my youngest son's gratduation in June. I also have my first grandchild coming in Oct. and I want to be healthy and active for her.
