"I am just now getting all my information together. I went to the seminar on June 10,2003. He seemed very knowledable, and sincere about wanting to help us. He was very adament about if we had not lost and kept the weight off by now, we probably would never do it alone. He and Dr. Thomas are the Mercy Bariatric weight loss surgeons.
They have just begun to do the RYN laproscopically. They will not do it on a person with a BMI greater than 35. They said that after they have done more of them and became more comfortable with doing them and had good results, they would consider expanding them to BMIs over 35.
I felt like they were there to help us. Marilyn was very helpful to answer our questions. She is the coordinator of the office.
I will let you know more as I have more experience with them and get to know them better.

I saw Dr.Totoro today. What a nice experience. I felt that he was polite and helpful. He was so optimistic. His coordinator, Marilyn is the greatest.She is so upbeat and supportive. Now we wait for the insurance."
