2 weeks post op from sleeve surgery. I am healing well, trying to learn to eat slower, I get heartburn. Can drink my water pretty well. Lost 25 in 14 days.

Well long story short I'm not having wls.  My Dr, changed his mind he says I'm doing so well losing weight for prep of surgery that he does not want to send the paper the Ins Co. needs.

So I'm taking one day at a time and praying alot.  that something is different this time I think it will.  I seem to lose a little, but aways gain it back. That worries me, but who knows.  There is aways good waiting for people if you look in the right place. 

Well yesterday I call my ins co, they said they had not got any of my info for my pre op, I could not believe it.
  So I called OSHU they said they sent it Jan 11, 2007.  She called the ins co and they asked her some questions and said to fax my records to them and it should take another 5 to 10 days.
  What do you do but wait, that where I'm at today !

I cant believe its already a new month,  I have not heard anything new.  Just want warmer weather, maybe some fresh flowers sprouting?

I have not heard anything yet.  Time will tell thou.  Things going ok I think I'm down about 53 pds since mid 2006--- got to lose about 25 more before surgery!  Wish me luck on that, I'll keep trying, maybe I can get close.

WELL I DIDNT HERE FROM OSHU ABOUT MY TEST SO I CALLED YESTERDAY.  I THINK EVERYTHING IS FINE--- NO CALL BACK ANYWAY.  THEY ARE GOING TO GO AHEAD AND SEND MY PRE-OP TO THE INS CO. WE WILL SEE HOW LONG THAT TAKES. SHE SAID ABOUT 45 DAYS AND THEN THEY SET MY SURGERY DATE THEN...MAYBE IN MARCH????

WELL YESTERDAY MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT TO MY APPTS AT OSHU AND I GUESS THEY ARE WAITING FOR MY CALL TO SEND IN MY PRE AUTH FOR MY INS.  THEY TOOK A BLOOD SAMPLE TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY BACTERIA THAT CAUSES ULSERS? I GUESS THEY WILL LET ME KNOW.  WE WERE THERE ABOUT 3 HOURS.   I GUESS I NEED TO DECIDE SOMETIME SOON HUH

WELL I'VE DONE HAD THE PHY EVAL AND HE GAVE ME APPROVAL.  THE NEXT APPTS ARE 12/26 WITH NURSE PRAT AND NUTRITIONIST.   NOT SURE WHATS AFTER THAT INS APPROVAL I THINK  I KEEP READING EVERONES POSTS BUT NOT SURE IF I DOING THIS RIGHT?

Well I had the first part or the written part of my phy eval done go to see him on Tues.  What I want to know is how did anyone out there know that surgery was 100% right for them.  Please let me know. I'm worrying again?????? 

WELL NOT ALOT HAS CHANGED EXCEPT THE DR HAS SENT MY FILES OVER TO OSHU AND I HAVE 2 APPOINTS WITH THEM ON 12/26/06 HOPEFULLY I'LL GET SOME MORE ANSWERS.  MORE LATER.
