Surgery this Friday.

Hello all~

I am getting ready for my surgery, Friday, April 24th, 2009.  I am having the Realize Band put in over my RNY.  I am very excited and very scared at the same time.  For so long I felt as if I failed the RNY.  After talking with many people I realize, I did not fail it, I am still 115 lbs from where I started.  I am looking at this as being phase II of III (the 3rd phase is plastics).  I am very motivated to win this battle right now, but I am scared to find out what happens when the motivation is gone.  I talk with one of my closest friends often, and neither of us can figure out why the old habits are so easy to come back after 1 year, 2 years, 3 years being gone.  I tried to learn more this time, instead of just "going with the flow'.  Well, not much else to talk about now.........oh yeah, but I did weigh in at Dr. Guske's preop appt. and I am down to 319.  For those who don't know, I was 435, got down to 299, ballooned back up to 363, and now I am down to 319.  I'll try to post once more before surgery.
