Today is day 3 or my liquid pre-op 2 week diet. Thus far it is not too bad. I started this journey well over a year ago in the fall of 2007, right before the window closed on my open enrollment I found out one of my choices had exclusions and the other changed their medical policy that month. So I opted to wait until 2009 rolled around to switch to my own insurance so it would be covered at a more economical rate than if we were to up my husbands family plan. During 2008, I joine WW for the hundredth time in March and stayed with it till now. I had good success of 26 lbs, but as the winter came on I back slided as usual and gained half of that back. But this way when 2009 rolled around I was able to set up my consult and get the ball rolling on meeting the other requirments of pych eval and other pre-op testing and here I am a little behind my schedule I had hoped for April, but hey I will take May.
